How to Use Wreaths as Table Runners for a Unique Centerpiece
Share
Traditional table runners are common, but using a series of Wreaths as a "Living" runner creates an architectural line that draws the eye and anchors the entire room. At Opal Party, we believe in redefining tradition. By laying wreaths flat and layering them with our signature Pearl White and Light Purple accents, you create a centerpiece that is as unique as it is sophisticated.
The "Linked Loop" Technique To make your wreaths look like a continuous runner, you need to "link" them visually. Place three to five medium-sized wreaths in a straight line down the center of your table, overlapping the edges slightly. Use long Light Purple silk ribbons to loosely "weave" between them, creating a unified, "Opal" movement across the table.
The "Nesting" Glow The empty center of a wreath is the perfect "Nest" for your most beautiful Dining & Entertaining pieces. Place a tall Pearl White pillar candle or a cluster of varied Candles & Holders inside each wreath. The greenery acts as a frame, instantly elevating a simple candle into a masterpiece.
Tonal Layering with Frosted Greenery For a modern look, choose "Flocked" or "Frosted" wreaths that have a hint of white on the leaves to match your Pearl White theme. Tuck small clusters of Light Purple faux peonies or dried lavender directly into the branches. This creates a "Tone-on-Tone" effect that mimics a dreamlike spring morning.
